Current Projects
Under Wagul, we launched Green Pitch Consulting (GPC) to help youth sports organizations across the U.S. optimize travel schedules, green their operations, and champion sustainability from the ground up. We’re also preparing to debut Run-N-Ride Relays in 2026 with a pilot event intersecting running and public transit in Los Angeles.
Why Sports and Sustainability?
After spending a few years focusing on policy and determining how to make the most impact in the sustainability space, it became clear that the best way forward was to combine it with another passion. For years, sports have been utilized as a means to address and advance social issues. So, why not do the same to protect the planet?
Extreme heat, flooding, and other climate concerns are already affecting the quality of sports and competition, with extensive delays and health concerns dominating the headlines over the past few years. By building the sports and sustainability nexus, athletes, clubs, and fans can lead a culture shift that protects our surrounding environment as well as the integrity of the world’s greatest pastimes.
